Cantine Monfort can boast almost 70 years of wine making experience, starting in 1945. The winery is based in Lavis, a village close to Trento. The first bottle of cuvée sparkling wine was made in 1985 as an experiment that soon became a lasting commitment. Throughout the years, their continuing research into the best grapes for their base wine has allowed this winery to constantly improve its quality. Cantine Monfort dedicates itself passionately to producing Trentodoc sparkling wines, in Brut, Rosé and Riserva varieties.
This label can be defined in a word: delicacy. A quality that makes it suitable as an aperitif, yet equally entitled to stay on the table for the rest of the meal. From grapes cultivated on the hills of Lavis and Meano.
Delicate, fragrant and light. This Trentodoc has a rich, mellow flavour, with perfectly blended fragrant notes of crusty bread and vanilla, and subtle, agreeable hints of citrus fruits. Fifty-four months of aging on the lees make it an important brut, perfect when paired with appetizers, for a special toast or as a protagonist throughout a meal.
It is distinguished by its intense and complex bouquet, with notes of minerals, fruitier hints of strawberry and red apple and a softness of taste that is rich, persistent and well balanced. The delicate, old pink colour is a sign of authenticity, with a creamy white foam and a fine, persistent perlage.
