At 700m above sea level, Cembra Cantina di Montagna is the highest winery in Trentino. Founded in 1952 by just a handful of winegrowers, today it has around 400 members that harbour a passion for heroic viticulture on the steep, traditional terraces in the Valle. Cembra is nestled in the most important porphyry basin in Europe, a rock that lends the wines extraordinary persistence and flavour. A number of vine types have found their preferred environment within this unique landscape. These are chosen according to “zoning projects”, and recount the tradition and strength of the Trentino region in the aromas and flavours of the wines they produce.
Oro Rosso Dosaggio Zero
ORO ROSSO DOSAGGIO ZERO
A Trentodoc Riserva, made only from Chardonnay grapes and matured for a good 60 months on its lees. It reflects the area, the Valle di Cembra, where excellence has been discovered in the vineyards and the land. The composition of rock traces in the soil creates the elegant aroma of ripened fruit and the full and soft body of this premium Trentodoc.
Oro Rosso Brut
ORO ROSSO BRUT
The name “ororosso”, reddish gold, comes from the porphyric soil that the grapes are grown in. Porphyry is also the stone that symbolises the Valle di Cembra. This is a metodo classico sparkling wine that is deeply infused with its terrain – a 48-month Trentodoc produced with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes ripened at an altitude of 600 metres. It features a fine and elegant aroma with notes of ripe fruit and bread crust and has a full and persistent flavour.
Oro Rosso Rosé
ORO ROSSO ROSÉ
This Trentodoc is produced with selected lots of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from vineyards located on the hills of the Cembra Valley. It has an intense, fruity aroma, with a lively, highly individual palate.
